Accurate DIV LLC (“Accurate DIV”, “we”, “us”) provides diminished-value evaluation services to insurance companies and other businesses that handle vehicle claims (our “clients”). This policy explains how we handle personal information.
We handle personal information primarily on behalf of our clients. If you are a vehicle owner whose claim is being evaluated, your insurer decides what information is collected and how it is used, and we process it only on the insurer’s instructions. Requests to access, correct or delete your information should be directed to your insurer; we support our clients in responding to them.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, payment card numbers or bank account details. Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
We use personal information only to deliver our services to clients, to operate, secure and support those services, to communicate about a specific claim or inquiry, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models.
Our service calculates a diminished-value figure using a rules-based method, not machine learning. Claims that cannot be evaluated cleanly are reviewed by our staff, and the figure we produce is one input to the insurer’s adjuster, who makes the decision on the claim. We do not make decisions about individuals by solely automated means.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us deliver and operate our services under confidentiality obligations, with vehicle data providers that receive vehicle details but not the owner’s name or contact details, and where required by law. Claim information is stored and processed in the United States.
Claim information is retained for the duration of the client’s engagement and deleted afterwards in accordance with our data retention policy. We maintain written security, incident response and business continuity policies, protect information with appropriate technical and organizational measures, and notify affected clients promptly of any security incident involving their information.
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Vehicle owners should contact their insurer to exercise rights over their information; we will act on the insurer’s instructions and forward any request we receive directly. Portal users can update their contact details in the portal or ask their organization’s administrator to change or remove their access. Where applicable privacy law gives you additional rights, we will honor them in accordance with the law and our clients’ instructions.
We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above shows when it last changed. Questions about this policy can be sent through the Contact Us form on this website.
